Acceptable Use and Marketplace Policy
This Policy is part of the Terms of Service. It protects ResaleLift, users, marketplaces, and other people from unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or unauthorized activity.
01Lawful and authorized use
Use the Service only for accounts, listings, content, and inventory you own or are expressly authorized to manage. Comply with applicable laws, consumer-protection rules, advertising rules, tax obligations, intellectual-property rights, and marketplace agreements.
02Marketplace-rule responsibility
You are solely responsible for determining whether and how marketplace rules permit an action. Do not treat product availability, guardrails, pacing, scheduling, or proxy features as permission from a marketplace.
If a marketplace directs you to stop, limits your account, revokes access, or changes its rules, you must disable affected workflows. You may not use ResaleLift to defeat or circumvent that decision.
03No unauthorized account access
- Do not access, connect, test, control, or attempt to recover an account without the account holder's express authority.
- Do not request, collect, disclose, sell, or reuse another person's password, authentication code, session token, cookie, payment information, or private message.
- Do not impersonate another person, create deceptive accounts, or misrepresent business identity, location, authorization, affiliation, inventory, or transaction history.
04No abuse, spam, or manipulation
- No unsolicited bulk messages, repetitive comments, harassment, fake engagement, artificial demand, deceptive offers, wash transactions, or coordinated manipulation.
- No excessive actions designed to overload, degrade, disrupt, or unfairly manipulate a marketplace, ResaleLift, or another service.
- No automation intended to evade marketplace rate limits, enforcement, verification, CAPTCHAs, blocks, or other technical controls.
- No scraping, harvesting, indexing, downloading, or republishing data or content you do not own or lack authority to process.
05Listings and products
- No counterfeit, stolen, recalled, illegal, regulated, unsafe, or marketplace-prohibited goods.
- No false descriptions, hidden defects, misleading images, unsupported authenticity claims, deceptive pricing, or unlawful discriminatory practices.
- No content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
06Proxy restrictions
Use location matching only to maintain ordinary, legitimate account access consistent with where you normally operate. Do not use proxies to conceal fraud, manufacture eligibility, misrepresent residence, avoid taxes, bypass sanctions or geographic restrictions, operate unauthorized accounts, or evade enforcement.
07Service security
- Do not probe, scan, attack, introduce malware, exploit vulnerabilities, bypass authentication, or obtain access beyond your authorization.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile, extract source code or datasets, interfere with logging, or use the Service to build or train a competing product except where law expressly permits.
- Do not resell, rent, sublicense, or provide the Service to unrelated third parties without written permission.
08Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations; preserve relevant records; limit workflows; suspend or terminate accounts; refuse instructions; cooperate with lawful requests; and report conduct when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, or the Service.
Enforcement decisions may consider severity, repetition, intent, risk, cooperation, and legal obligations. We are not required to monitor every action and do not assume responsibility for user conduct by enforcing or not enforcing this Policy.
09Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse through the legal contact listed in the Legal Center. Include enough detail to investigate, but never send passwords, authentication codes, or full payment-card data.
